About Author

I was brought up in Milford, Ohio, just to the east of Cincinnati. I am the second youngest of seven children in my family. My father was a general contractor who built homes for many decades. In my youth, I worked for him as a 'gopher', as in: 'go-fer-this' and 'go-fer-that'. I suppose it was this background that inspired my main character's apprenticeship to his father, the miller.

I continue to enjoy the Osten Chronicles. I enjoyed the deeper dive into the Sholeena character as well as the continued journey with Lucas and friends. The travels and encounters have depth of thought and keeps ones interest throughout.

A good entry into the book series, I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book of the series when it is released.

This story of a miller’s son getting magical powers in a medieval country was fantastic. In this book he finally grows a pair and asks the Baron for his girls hand after the Prince asks to court her.

Great read and I’m surprised this author doesn’t have more traffic. Nice to read main characters with depth of character and realistic flaws. Clean enough for all audiences is a plus.
